Hello again!
Below is an article that you may want to spend your time to read about.

The Paralympics: Perfection isn't everything

People were upset when officials decided that Yang Peiyi, a child singer, was not cute for the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games in Beijing, China. Peiyi’s beautiful voice was used, but she wasn’t allowed to appear.

Many believe that it is wrong to expect anyone to be “perfect”. That’s why the Paralympic Games are so meaningful. Just like the Olympics, the Paralympics are a major sporting event, except that they are specially for athletes with disabilities.

The Paralympic Games, which started in 1960, have always been held in the same year as the Olympic Games. Since the Seoul 1988 Paralympic Games, they have also taken place at the same venues as the Olympics. This year’s event is taking place now in Beijing, where the Olympics concluded recently.

Singapore has sent six athletes to the Paralympics.
